She became a household name after playing character of Joba Rani Sengupta in Star Jalsha’s television serial Ke Apon Ke Por from 2016 to 2020. She has also acted in Bengali films like Pareshaan Parinda (2018), Pagri Singh Da Taaj (2013).

Biography

Pallavi Sharma was born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand to a Bengali family.  She later grew up in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

While studying, she discovered a passion for the performing arts. But her medical training pulled her focus as she ultimately moved to New Delhi to become a General Practitioner/Family Doctor with a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Pallavi made her acting debut in year 2016 with television serial with Ke Apon Ke Por, starring alongside Biswajit Ghosh in the lead role of Joba Rani Sengupta.
